“Steve Rennick, one of the 10 star dancers in the 8th annual Dancing with Vero’s Stars, has a local business supporting him all the way to the finish line of this year’s May 14 event. Travis Beckett and Lou Kolbauer, co-owners of Chive, located on both Royal Palm Pointe and on Old Dixie Highway in Vero Beach, have created the “Steve Special,” a healthy, steaming hot dish that Rennick eats regularly.
“I wanted to eat healthy to help get into dancing shape for my routine,” shares Rennick, Real Estate Broker at Rennick Realtors and current President of the Realtors Association of Indian River County.
“Chive stepped up to prepare this special dish, named after me, and for each purchase, a donation of $1 goes directly to the IRC Healthy Start Coalition.”
The special is a combination of four ounces of blackened chicken with sautéed spinach and broccoli, fresh garlic, white wine and lemon. Rennick admits to spicing it up a bit more with some hot sauce!
